SOCIAL ACTION - ADOPT-A-HIGHWAY
The Dulles-Leesburg (VA) Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. proudly participates in the Virginia Department of Transportation’s Adopt-A-Highway Program. The chapter adopted a stretch of road in Northern Virginia and performs a quarterly litter pick-up each calendar year. Leading the effort is 2nd Vice Polemarch, Mervyn Levy. For members of the local chapter, this provides a great fellowship opportunity with other members. For the next scheduled Adopt-A-Highway pick-up, please continue to visit our website and monitor the news & announcement section. The Dulles Leesburg (VA) Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi partners with the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT). As good stewards of the community we have a corporate social responsibility to help clean up local highway in Loudoun County, VA. The Adopt-A-Highway Program provides a mechanism to help maintain sections of roadside within the Commonwealth. The Springtime activities coincide with “Earth Day” , the Fall activities coincide with the autumn "Day to Serve."
